Following the directive from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, the College has implemented the 4-year Undergraduate Programme from the academic session 2023-24. Consequently, there is an unavoidable need to increase the student accommodation capacity. Of the four existing hostels, only Adbhutananda Bhavana is amenable for further extension, and we have made the necessary planning to add more floor to the Adbhutananda Bhavana. The cost for the construction of the new floor is estimated to be around Rs. 3 crores.
